Former World No. 1 rankings Novak Djokovic split with coach Radek Stapanek, reported from Serbian tennis player`s headquarters. The news came just days after Djokovic announced he would not rely on another of his coaches, Andre Agassi.
The Serb was working with Agassi on Grand Slam tournaments, while Stepanek helped him in the other races of the ATP calendar.
`After the Miami tournament, Novak Djokovic and Radek Spepanek decided to end their joint work, ` the official Serbian star said.
Last July, Djokovic got an elbow injury at the Wimbledon quarterfinal and was out of court for about six months. He returned to the Australian Open in January, but dropped out in the fourth round. In February, the Serb suffered an elbow operation.
Djokovic played in March of the Masters Series in Indian Wells and Miami, where he dropped into the second round. The next tournament via
