Soccer tips Drew Brees: Would play 3 more seasons if right arm was functional

Former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees explained why he was forced to retire from his football career.


If my right arm had functioned, I would have played another three years. My body feels great. The body is ready to play, but the right hand is not. Unfortunately, this is what forced me to finish. And the time has come, " Breeze said.


Brees retired from a 20-year career following the 2020 season. His last game from how soccer predictions was against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the playoffs. Due to COVID restrictions, there were only 4, 000 spectators at Saints Stadium for that match.


The ex-quarterback also noted that after several operations he can only throw the ball with his left hand.


I can throw 30 yards with my left hand. Unfortunately, it takes more than that to play at the NFL level. When I play with my sons, I throw with my left hand. And anything that doesn`t involve the shoulder-racquet games, golf-that`s fine, " Brees added.


Brees won a Super Bowl in 2009, was elected to the All-Star Game 13 times and led the season in passing yards 7 times.


The Saints will induct Brees into the club`s Hall of Fame during the 2024 season.
