Romain Grosjean assessed Ferrari`s chances of winning the title in 2023.


In 2022, Charles Leclerc lost to Red Bull driver Max Verstappen and took second place in the individual championship.


After the first three races, it would be crazy not to think that Ferrari and Charles Leclerc will become champions. But in the end they barely finished second. Charles is probably disappointed. If George [Russell] had finished the season second, it would have meant something. And when you lead by 45 or 65 points from Max and finish behind, it`s a shame.


I think Ferrari will perform strongly next year. The car is certainly fast in qualifying, Charles drives excellently. He makes mistakes, but they always happen when you try to catch up with your opponent. When you drive ahead and everything goes well, in a sense it`s easier. If you`re behind, there are factors that put you at a disadvantage.


So Charles really impressed me. "I believe that Ferrari will draw conclusions and will be in the fight next year, " the Indy Car driver said in the Motorsport Magazine podcast.
