Capitals hockey player John Carlson did not finish the match with Winnipeg (4:1) due to a puck hit in the face.


It happened at the beginning of the third period after the throw of the defender of the Canadian club Brenden Dillon. Carlson was taken to the hospital.


The club forecast by partners of soccer win later announced that the American had been discharged from the hospital and would be monitored by the team`s medical staff. The terms of the player`s recovery have not been announced.
