Ex-partners of Max Verstappen spoke about the Formula 1 champion and his team.


McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo, who raced with Verstappen in 2016-2019, noted the positive aspects of the absolute superiority of Red Bull.


The team is dominant. Some people get bored when someone dominates, but, on the other hand, this is something phenomenal.


Of course, I know Red Bull very well. A lot of the guys on the team worked hard to bring back the Constructors` Championship. So, of course, to some extent I`m happy for them, - said Riccardo.


Alex Albon, who played at Red Bull in 2019-2020, also commented on Verstappen`s achievements.


Now he is at the peak of his form, and, I believe, in the remaining two races of the season it will continue.


[Max`s performances] deserve a lot of respect. He is still relatively young, but has accumulated a lot of experience. You can see how confident he is. It`s impressive, - said the pilot of Williams.


Albon also noted that Verstappen helped him understand the philosophy of a fast car much better and knows how to extract speed from Pirelli tires in a special way.
